Nykaa Now: UI Case Study

Project Overview

Nykaa Now is a new quick commerce platform for beauty and makeup products, offering a 3-hour delivery service. The goal was to design a homepage UI for its beta launch that catered to the Nykaa audience while aligning with the aesthetics of the existing Nykaa app.

Problem Statement

The challenge was to create a fast, user-friendly interface similar to apps like Blinkit and Zepto, but with a distinctive Nykaa feel. The design needed to reflect Nykaa's brand aesthetics while optimizing for quick commerce functionality.

Solution

Leading the design efforts, we revamped the app with a fresh, sophisticated look, focusing on an intuitive interface and enhanced user experience. Through strategic design execution, we ensured that the app not only met business expectations but also resonated well with users.

Results

The design was well-received by both the business team and users during testing.

The beta launch was a success, and plans for a full-scale rollout are now underway.

Key Learnings

This project presented new challenges in managing people and processes efficiently. Overcoming obstacles throughout the project allowed me to pave the way for future design-led initiatives at Nykaa.
